Founded on January 21, 1957, in Chillicothe, Ohio, Mechanical Construction Co., Inc. has proudly served the region for more than six decades. In 1968, we expanded with an office in Portsmouth, Ohio, and by 1988, the entire operation relocated there as we became a fully family-owned business.
In our early years, we focused on providing plumbing and HVAC services for large grocery stores and retail centers throughout Southern Ohio. As demand grew, we expanded into the industrial, institutional, state, and federal facilities sector, adding process piping and air-handling services to our traditional plumbing and HVAC capabilities.
In 2009, we further diversified into the Water Treatment Industry, led by seasoned professional Lee Glockner, following the closure of Crace Construction Company. This addition strengthened our ability to serve municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities across the region.
The next chapter of our company’s legacy began in 2016, when Jon Stapleton became President and Paul A. (Tony) Dingus stepped into the role of Vice President, continuing our tradition of leadership, innovation, and family values.
